Closing the digital safety knowledge gap.

Safety through knowledge.

Research that leads to real-world prevention, and programs that bring it to communities, families, and the people who serve them.

Why this matters

Digital safety shouldn’t depend on your age, income, ZIP code, or technical experience.

More of everyday life now happens online, while scams, fraud, impersonation, and AI-enabled deception change quickly. Most people have never received meaningful digital safety education, and access to training and tools is uneven.

The ZoraSafe Foundation exists to close that gap, so people can take part in digital life with confidence instead of fear.

Who we serve

  • Older adults

Navigating scams, fraud, and everyday technology with greater confidence.

  • Youth & families

Age-appropriate knowledge about privacy, manipulation, scams, and emerging digital risks.

  • Communities with fewer digital safety resources

Education and practical safety support in places where it is hard to find.

  • People with limited access to technology or digital training

Tools, training, and support to take part safely in digital life.

01

Community Digital Safety Education

Practical scam, fraud, and privacy education in places people already trust: libraries, senior centers, schools, and community organizations.

02

Digital Confidence & Skills Training

Patient, accessible training that builds the skills and confidence to use everyday technology safely.

03

Youth & Family Digital Safety

Age-appropriate education on scams, privacy, online manipulation, and AI-generated content.

04

Pilots & Technology Access

Community pilots that put safety tools, devices, and training materials within reach of those who would otherwise go without.

We also equip librarians, educators, senior-center staff, nonprofit teams, and other trusted local leaders with resources they can use in their own communities.

Research & impact

Research that leads to real-world prevention.

  1. Study

Investigate emerging scams, fraud patterns, AI-enabled threats, and how people make decisions under pressure.

  2. Translate

Turn findings into plain-language curriculum, training, and program design.

  3. Prevent

Deliver it in communities, evaluate the results, and improve what we teach.

We evaluate programs to understand whether people leave better able to recognize risk and make safer decisions.
